Skunk2 is pleased to announce the release of our all new v2.0 Pro-Series Ball Joint. In keeping with one of our company’s main goals of constantly striving to innovate and set ourselves apart from the competition, we set out to take our highly successful and widely copied Pro-Series Ball Joint and make it even better. The new v2.0 Pro Series Ball Joint may look identical to its predecessor on the surface, but that is where the similarities end. When lowering a car, the front upper A-Arm (or camber kit) can reach a point where the ball joints range of motion will be maxed out, causing the suspension arm to bind at the joint. The new v2.0 Pro Series Ball Joint helps alleviate this problem by featuring a 3mm larger diameter pivot ball and a housing that has been notched to allow for increased range of motion and added overall strength. A high quality Teflon liner is used to surround the ball joint for smoother operation and longevity, while the rubber boot that houses the ball joint now utilizes a crimped design that allows for the increased angle.
