Nippon Racing Version 2 P72 Pistons are Heat Treated and come with a Ceramic Hard Anodized Surface Down to the Second Ring Groove to Improve Heat Dissipation for Turbo and Nitrous builds. These Pistons are equipped with 4 Cryogenically heat treated 21MM wrist pis and teflon coated skirts.

Fits all Honda B-Series motors listed: B16A B16B B16A2, B17A, B18A/B, B18C, GS-R or B18C5 Type-R

Standard Press-fit for OEM Honda/ Acura Rods
These pistons have Holes in the wrist pin bosses to improve oiling and superior lubrication.

These pistons are domed to match Honda's P72 piston.

40 Percent stronger than OEM Honda cast pistons.

Wrist pin center to dome height has been matched to within .001"

Dome displacement has been matched to within .005 CC

This results in near identical cylinder compression, yielding more horsepower and better efficiency.

Nippon Racing has redesigned these pistons to share the alloy of the far superior Mitsubishi OEM Turbo castings. These pistons have the Deck and the Ring lands Fully coated with a Knock Resistant Coating.The skirts have been Polished to a dull surface finish to Eliminate potential hot spots and further aid in heat transfer to the cylinder walls.These pistons have been tested to support over 450 WHP with the proper tuning and supporting mods. Dome displacement has been matched to within .005 CC .This results in near identical cylinder compression, yielding more horsepower and better efficiency.
