Nippon Racing JDM P73 Pistons are Heat Treated and come with a Ceramic Hard Anodized Surface Down to the Second Ring Groove to Improve Heat Dissipation as well as use with Nitrous. These Pistons are equipped with 4 Cryogenically heat treated 21MM wrist pis and teflon coated skirts.
ALL NIPPON RACING PISTONS SETS ARE WEIGHT MATCHED TO +/- 1 GRAM. NIPPON RACING PISTONS HAVE DEEPER VALVE POCKETS THAN TRADITIONAL P73 PISTONS TO ALLOW USE OF AFTERMARKET PERFORMANCE CAMSHAFTS UP TO STAGE 3. THESE ARE TRUE HIGH PERFORMANCE RACING PISTONS WITH A HORSEPOWER RATING OF 600 HP.
NEW ADDITION, ROD HOUSING HAS BEEN EXPANDED SO THERE IS NO NEED FOR CUSTOM MILLED RODS WITH THESE PISTONS

ADD .02 FOR EVERY .50MM IN INCREASED DIAMETER
This kit will fit all 81-82mm bore B-Series engines.
These pistons are designed only for NA applications.
We utilize NPR rings as they are OEM for most of the worlds Engines.**

THIS IS DONE TO PREVENT PIN DAMAGE UNDER EXTREME PRESSURE.
